EXTENDED LEARNING PROGRAMS School-based, academic enrichment programs in the core subject areas of math, reading and science.  Each program is individualized and specialized to meet the needs of an individual school, targeting grades K-12.  The program incorporates academics, family engagement, character education and service learning.   A parent component assists parents with increasing their involvement in their child’s learning process and strengthening the family unit.  Programs may operate afterschool, weekends, extended school breaks and summer breaks. PARENT ENRICHMENT  Seminars addressing parenting skills for parents (seasoned & new), absent parents, grandparents or other caregivers, focusing on providing strategies, resources & support for raising healthy and productive children.  Parent enrichment emphasizes relationship building, partnerships and collaborations.  Seminars are designed specifically for the needs of the group and occur in the school or community setting. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Educational forums and training seminars specifically devised for educators and teachers, and child-care professionals, focusing on instructional strategies, classroom management, academic & nonacademic needs of children, parent engagement & fostering success for students.  Professional development seminars are designed to meet the specific needs of the population. SPEAKER SERIES Contact Achievement Services to book a speaker for youth organizations, parent workshops and PTO’s, or teacher conferences.  Topics include effective teaching strategies, nonacademic needs of students and leveraging parental engagement.
